Getting ready to take off3 day 2 night CT river Adventure::
We meet you at Harbor Park in Middletown, where you will have lunch and receive detailed instructions on the fundamentals of paddling. From there we will load up for the adventure. You will be guided down the river to the campsite by the lead boat, while the River Sweeper will stay to the back encouraging the group along and offering any tidbits of information that   may help you improve your stroke for efficiency. All the while the provisions guide will be staying to the middle of the pack making sure everyone is hydrated and safe. At camp 2 guides put together dinner while the third facilitates games and activities, after making sure that camp is up. After dinner we go for a night hike  finishing off at the campfire for s'mores and stories.

Tuan.. Cooking.. Nice...The next day the group will wake up to the yummy scents of breakfast cooking on the fire. After breakfast we break camp and head off for another day of paddling. Lunch is by the Goodspeed Opera House. We will then meander through the marshland rivers of Wishbone Creek and Chapman’s Pond where you can view bald eagles, osprey, pheasant, and deer in natural habitats that can only be reached by water (hey don't forget to drop in your fishing line we here that there are whoppers in there) finishing off at the predetermined camp site. The day finishes off much like the prior evening.

After Breakfast on day 3 we head south to the take out in Essex, Connecticut. Along the way we will explore Selden's Creek, where we might be able to find a great spot to go swimming. From there we head south stopping frequently for swim breaks. The guides will point out the different wild life through out the day. We have seen Bald Eagles and Osprey on most of the trips in this area. We end our adventure in Essex. Enjoy work!
